Dr. Karen LeComte is a member of Family Medicine Residency faculty at CHRISTUS Health (CHRISTUS Health).
Dr. Karen LeComte is a board certified Neurologists with 14 year of practice. Dr. Lecomte graduated from the University of Vermont College of Medicine and completed her Neurology residency at Fletcher Allen Healthcare at UVMCOM. She provides comprehensive adult neurological care in all areas including headache, epilepsy, Parkinson disease, movement disorders, MD, dementia, concussion and stroke. She acknowledges that while neurological diagnosis and treatment can be difficult, she believes that patients need to feel supported and that care should be compassionate and professional. She promotes the empowerment of the patient through education and has given many community talks on various neurological diseases including Migraine, MS, Parkinson Disease and Concussion.
Dr. LeComte is a New England native but after falling in love with the sunny weather, rugged terrain and warm hearted people, she and her husband have made their permanent home here in Alamogordo.
